Privacy Policy
Colory Cam · Last updated: July 21, 2026
This policy describes how the mobile app Colory Cam (hereinafter “the App”) handles information when you use it on your iOS or Android device.
The most important thing in one sentence: the App does not upload your photos to any server. All color capture and identification happens locally on your device.
1. Data controller
Controller: Ricardo Ulises Eslava Ventura, individual (sole proprietor). Address: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. Contact email: legal@inmottion.mx
2. What data we collect
2.1 Data we do not collect
The App does not collect or transmit:
- Photos you load from your gallery or camera roll.
- Images captured by your camera.
- Colors you save in your palette.
- Notes you write on your colors.
- Your location, contacts, messages, microphone, or other personal data.
All content you generate with the App stays exclusively in your device’s local storage. If you uninstall the App, that information is deleted with it.
2.2 Data we do collect (anonymous)
To keep the App running, improve it, and monetize it through advertising and one-time purchases, we collect the following data through third-party providers:
- Device advertising identifier — on iOS this is the IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) and on Android the AAID (Android Advertising ID), used by Google AdMob to show you ads. You can limit or reset this identifier from your device settings. On iOS, the App also asks for your permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system before accessing it.
- Anonymous usage data — events such as “app opened”, “color identified”, “palette opened”, “purchase made”. This does not include the specific values of your colors or your notes. Collected by Google Firebase Analytics.
- Crash reports — if the App crashes unexpectedly, a technical report is sent with error information. It does not include personal data or user content. Collected by Google Firebase Crashlytics.
- Anonymous purchase identifier — an identifier randomly generated by RevenueCat to validate whether you purchased the Premium version. It is not linked to your name, email, or Apple/Google account.
3. Purposes of processing
We process the above data for the following purposes:
- Show you relevant advertising (free version).
- Improve the App’s functionality and performance.
- Detect, diagnose, and fix technical errors.
- Validate and restore your In-App purchases.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful authority requests when applicable.
4. Third parties with whom we share information
The following providers receive the anonymous data mentioned above. Each maintains its own privacy policy and terms:
- Apple Inc. (App Store, In-App purchase processing on iOS) — based in the United States. Apple’s policy.
- Google LLC (AdMob, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Billing on Android) — based in the United States. Google’s policy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. (In-App purchase validation) — based in the United States. RevenueCat’s policy.
These providers may store and process your information on servers located outside Mexico, including the United States. By using the App you acknowledge this international transfer of data.
5. Your rights
Under Mexican Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP), and similar laws in other jurisdictions (such as GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Cancel/delete the use of your data when no longer needed.
- Object to processing for specific purposes.
Since most information generated in the App lives exclusively on your device, you can exercise these rights directly by uninstalling the App or clearing its data from your device settings. For anonymous data shared with third parties (point 2.2), send your request to legal@inmottion.mx clearly stating what you wish to do. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.
6. Children’s data
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under that age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under your care has provided personal data to us without your consent, contact us at legal@inmottion.mx and we will delete that information immediately.
In jurisdictions where the minimum age is higher (such as the European Union, with 16 years in some countries), the App is also not directed at minors under that age.
7. Advertising and tracking consent
On iOS: the first time you open the App, Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) system will ask for your permission to allow tracking. If you decline, you will be shown non-personalized ads. You can change your decision at any time from your device Settings.
In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland: when you open the App you will see a consent message (managed through Google’s UMP platform) where you can choose whether to accept personalized advertising. You can change your decision at any time from the App’s Settings section.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and administrative security measures to protect the limited data we process. However, no system is 100% impenetrable. In the event of an incident affecting your data, we will notify you through available means when required by law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on the Inmottion portal. The date at the top of this document indicates when it was last updated. If changes are significant, we will notify you within the App or through other appropriate means.
10. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using the App you accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any of its terms, do not install the App.
